My name is Emma Lawrence. I enjoy socialising, travel, reading novels and music, especially concerts and live music.

I am the Retail Manager of the shop, whilst offering Therapeutic Support to various people living with mental illness. I am also very involved with fundraising and brand awareness as this is part of my role also.

Mind Jersey Nearly New Shop, 53 New Street and the Mind Jersey office in Beresford Street

Currently I am in charge of 18 volunteers, and also support people on a one to one basis offering self-confidence, self-awareness and retail training through therapeutic support.

I don’t have a typical day, my role is very varied, and I split my time between the shop and the main office. The volunteer’s wellbeing is paramount together with supporting individuals to live a fulfilled life empowerment

Volunteer’s person achievements, being able to sign post people in the direction of other Mind Jersey services. Working with individuals on a supervisory role and watching the progress people make themselves at the end of the sessions.
