Social Activities

Access to 'normal' social activities that can often be one of the first things that suffers when someone has a mental health problem.  We as individuals of the FOCUS organisation have a wide range of outside interests and thought that this naturally could be exploited and help to offer people a safe and supportive environment to have fun doing 'normal' social things with other people who 'get it' without being a support group or meeting about mental health or illness.

The Fishing Club:
Which drew great interest from the general public and the donation of a great number of rods, reels and tackle, as well as the offer of places on Boats.  As Stephen and Philip are both prone to sea sickness we have decided to postpone the club during the colder months and we will be starting again in the spring for anyone interested.

If anyone has any ideas of other things we could do we welcome suggestions or offers of support.
