The service will provide:
- Information to carers about mental illness
- Information about recovery
- Information on what to do in crisis situations
- Information on what the mental health service and other professionals can and cannot do (confidentiality issues etc...)
- Promotion of good health for carers (physical and mental).
- Support for carers emotional needs, giving them time to talk whilst listening to their problems
- Supporting them in finding their own solutions
- Empowering them with information and encouraging self care

For an informal chat or initial advice you can drop into St Thomas’s Welcome Centre (next to St Thomas Church) every Wednesday between 2.00 and 4.00 pm.
Mind Carers
A group exclusively for carers. Meets on the last Monday of the month (except bank holidays) at Oakfield industries (Highlands college) from 7.00pm - 8.30pm
Friends of Mind (formerly the "Friends of Focus")
A monthly support group open to all with an interest in mental health and Mind Jersey, held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, at the “Poplars” within Overdale Day Centre.
