Get Support

Mind Jersey provides information, support and practical help to anyone with mental health problems. These are some of the ways that we can help:

Information

We can provide information on mental health conditions ranging from how to deal with stress to severe mental illnesses such as Schizophrenia.

Advocacy

We can help you voice your choices about treatment, understand your rights or reach out to sources of support with our advocacy services.

Carer and Family Support

Mind Jersey supports the families, carers and friends of those who are ill. It can be really worrying when someone you know is going through a difficult time. We can help you understand your loved one’s illness and how best to support them.

Residential Services

We can offer practical advice about day to day living with mental illness to anyone, and offer a residential service for eighteen people experiencing acute mental health illness.

Peer Support

Living with a mental illness can feel very isolating, the benefits of peer support are widely acknowledged in helping experience and recovery. Mind Jersey will launch a peer support service to help those in the Jersey community experiencing mental distress.

Training

We believe mental health is everyone’s business. Whether you are an individual wishing to increase your knowledge about mental health or an organisation looking for training for your staff, there will be a course for you. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a training session.

Signposting

We can provide support and information for health professionals. We can partner with other organisations or we can help signpost you to a number of additional local and national support services.
