Mind Jersey was delighted when our relay team, 'Mind Gamers', completed the Accuro Jersey Triathlon in 2 hours and 54 minutes on Sunday 16th June. The team was made up of Sally Minty-Gravett, Dan Turner and Hannah Medder who competed on the charity's behalf.
Seasoned swimmer Sally Minty-Gravett led the team and completed her 1500m swim in quite a swell, but absolutely loved it! Dan Turner was next up and set off on a 40km cycle race, followed by Hannah Medder, who completed the relay with a 10km run around a circuit of the harbour.
We are very grateful to the trio for completing the relay on behalf of Mind Jersey. Our charity was chosen, as one of four local ones, to receive funds raised through the sponsorship that all entrants may have secured.
They were a marvellous team and the triathlon was a terrific community event which was brilliantly organised, supported and co-ordinated.
