Charity Shop Manager (Mind Jersey Charity shop – 30 hours per week)
Mind Jersey is seeking an experienced and passionate Charity Shop Manager to oversee the operations of our charity shop. This exciting role is central to supporting our mission of promoting good mental health and wellbeing across the island.
As Charity Shop Manager, you will lead and motivate a team of staff and volunteers, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the shop. You’ll manage stock, merchandising, and cash handling, while creating a welcoming environment for customers and volunteers alike. Your creativity and leadership will help maximise income generation, supporting the vital mental health services Mind Jersey provides.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven retail management experience, including stock and cash handling.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, especially in managing volunteers.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- A genuine passion for community engagement and the values of Mind Jersey.
- IT literacy and confidence managing sales and reporting systems.
