Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Camelot Residential Home, Mind Jersey
Hours: 21 hours per week (2 × 8-hour shifts + 1 × 5-hour shift), including weekend rotation
Additional: Occasional sleep-in cover for staff sickness and holiday cover
Annual Salary: £18,520.32

💙 About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team for a total of 21 hours per week. The schedule includes 2 × 8-hour shifts and 1 × 5-hour shift, with weekend rotation. You will also provide occasional sleep-in cover to support staff absence due to sickness or holiday.
This role is ideal for someone seeking a structured, meaningful role with a supportive team while making a positive impact on residents’ wellbeing.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Provide practical assistance with medication, meals, and personal care (as required).
- Deliver emotional support and encouragement tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records, adhering to Care Plans and Risk Assessments.
- Contribute to a safe, positive, and inclusive home environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals.
🎓 Essential Skills and Experience
- RQF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Good standard of education (including English and Maths)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, empathetic, and professional
- Flexible, including willingness to work weekends and occasional sleep-in cover
